Tournament Details

Tournament Rules:

1. Team Composition:
2. Each team consists of 9 players, with 6 or 7 on the court at a time. The remaining players serve as substitutes.
3. Match Format:

• League Matches: Best of 3 sets. First two sets played to 15 points, the third set to 11 points. Golden points come into effect at 17 and 13, respectively.
• Finals: Best of 3 sets. First two sets played to 25 points, and the third set to 15 points. Golden points come into effect at 27 and 17, respectively.
• Switching Sides: In the third set, teams switch sides when one team reaches 6(League Matches) / 7(Finals) points.

1. Tournament Format:
2. Round-robin format where each team plays every other team once.
3. Tie-Breaking:
4. Point differential will be used to determine the team ranks. 
5. Re-Serve:
6. If the ball makes contact with the pole over the net, the serve is repeated.
7. In/Out Clarification:
8. If the ball touches the inner edge or bounces inside the boundary line, it is considered in. Any other bounce outside the boundary is out.

1. Umpire's Decision:
2. The umpire’s decision is final and binding for all plays.
3. Net Violations:

• A maximum of 3 serious net violations are allowed per set, post which a point is awarded to the opposing team each time a violation is committed.
• Net violations include:
• Dragging the net down.
• Jumping into the opponent's court.
• Falling into the net.

1. Walkover Rule:
2. If a team is not ready at the scheduled match time, a walkover is declared. Teams must play with however many players are present at the time of the game.

Serving Rule:

No player is allowed to serve consecutively. Rotation is required between serves. All serves will be underhand.
