Tournament Details

RULES & REGULATIONS

• One player cannot be part of two teams of the same sport at any point of time. If the player is found playing in two teams, the teams will be disqualified.

• Practice Shuttles won’t be provided.

• Badminton shoes(non-marking) mandatory.

• All registrations must be made online. No spot registrations will be permitted.

Team Format

• Every team must have a minimum of 10 players of which two should be women.

• Every team must have two L4 or above  player.( Gender no bar).

• The upper limit for a squad size is 15. ( 3 women + 12 men).

• Matches will start by DAY-1 i.e., 9^th Sep 2023 at 11:00AM IST sharp.

• It is going to be a team event with the following categories. Captains of each team would be required to nominate players for below categories before the match starts

1.    One Men's Singles (MS)

2.    One Women's Singles (WS)

3.    Two Mixed Doubles (XD)

4.    One Women's Doubles (WD)

5.    Four Men's Doubles (MD)

6.    One Challenge game*

• All matches till finals, will be 1 set of 21  points (with side change when any player reaches 11 points).

• Pending matches of DAY-1 will be carried forwarded on DAY-2 i.e., 16^th Sep 2023 at 10:00AM IST sharp.

Tournament Format

• Fixture will be League/RR until we get Top 4 team from each group.

1.    Every Pool will have 6 teams in it.

2.    Every team will get to play a minimum of 5 matches.

3.    One match between two teams will consist of 10 games.

4.    One game will be 21 points in one set.

5.    Top 4 from each pool will be selected for Quarter finals.

• One player can only play 3 games per match, each of which should be of different categories. So, a player taking part in MD cannot play another MD in the same match. He can play one XD and one MS to complete his quota of games for the match.

Bonus Point Format

1.    If a team plays with 15 players in a match, they earn one bonus point for the match.

2.    If a team plays with 3 women players in a match, they earn two bonus point for the match.

3.    If a team plays with 2 players who are L4 & above in a match, they earn one bonus point for the match.

4.    If a team plays with 3 players who are L4 & above in a match, they earn two bonus points for the match.

Match Point Format

1.    The winner of each game gets three points.

2.    The loser of a game gets one point if he/she earns 15 points in a game.

3.    The loser of a game gets two points if he/she earns 20 points in a game.
