SWYNG Badminton Double Trouble 2022 in its third edition on Sun 27 February 2022 in Bengaluru.

Masters(Over 40) Doubles - Men, Women, Mixed


Cut off Age for categories

U19 - Born on or after 1 Jan 2003.

Men's Masters - Born on or before 1 Jan 1982.


Participation Fee: Rs. 900/- for all categories

Format of the tournament: Qualifiers & Knock out.

Qualifiers Round: All registered players of a category play two matches with randomly picked two others players registered in the category and ranked based on Matches Won-Lost and then Points Won-Lost. The matches in the qualifiers round are played for a single set of 30 points. The top 32 players proceed to knock out round with the same seeding.

Knock-out Round: The top 32 players from the qualifying round are seeded 1-32 and play knock-out matches for a draw of 32. All knock-out matches are played for the best of 3 sets of 21 points.

- Yonex Mavis 350 will be used to play. The courts are the center are wooden courts with synthetic mats are over the top.

-Trophies & prizes for the top 3 finishers in all categories.

Highlights

1st Place: A Yonex Racquet pair + Goodies including strings/bands/Tshirts etc.+ Trophy

2nd Place: A Yonex shuttle barrel + Goodies including strings/bands/Tshirts etc + Trophy


-Fixtures & Schedules will be shared at least a day prior to the tournament day. Fixture & schedule once published cannot be changed at the player's request.


-SWYNG deserves the right to modify the dates/format for reasons beyond their control and will be duly communicated. SWYNG also reserves the right to modify/scrap a category/reward depending on the participation count.


-All participants are responsible for their personal safety and by registering, they agree to the standard terms & conditions of any tournament.
