1.Rules and regulations

a) Every team must have a minimum of 10 players of which two should be women

b) Every team must have two players over 35 years of age

c) Upper limit for a squad size is 20. (5 women + 15 men)

d) If a team has more than 3 women they get 2 bonus points per match. (Bonus points will be explained in the points section)

e) If a team has more than three players over 35 years they get 2 bonus points per match

f) Every player must belong to the same organization (can be from different verticals)


2)League Format

a) Every Pool will have 3/4 teams in it

b) One match between two teams will consist of 10 games

c) One game will be 21 points one set (no deuce, golden point) in pool stage. From Semis, deuce with max points upto 30

d) Winner and runner up of each pool qualify for knockouts.(Based on points)


3)Match Format

a) 1 Men's Singles (MS)

b) 1 Women's Singles (WS)

c) 2 Mixed Doubles (XD)

d) 1 Women's Doubles (WD)

e) 2 Men's Doubles (MD)

f) 1 35+ Men's Singles (MS35+)

g) 1 35+ MD

h) 1 Challenge game* (Trump match), category decided by toss winner


One player can only play 3 games per match each of which should be of different categories. So a player taking part in MD cannot play another MD in the same match. He can play one XD and one MS to complete his quota of games for the match.


4)Points Format

a) Winner of each game gets 3 points

b) Loser of a game gets one point if he/she earns 15 points in a game

c) Loser of a game gets two points if he/she earns 20 points in a game

d) Winner of the game gets four points (instead of 3) if he/she keeps the opponents score to under 10 points

e) Toss winner of challenge game gets 6 points on winning or looses 6 points on loosing

f) Toss looser of challenge game gets 3 points on winning . No changes in points on loosing


4.1)Bonus points

a)If a team plays 3 women players in a match they earn 1 bonus point for the match

b) If a team plays 3 women players in a match they earn 2 bonus points for the match

c) If a team plays 3 players over 35 years in a match they earn 1 bonus point for the match

d) If a team plays more than 3 players over 35 years in a match they earn 2 bonus points for the match


Winner of each pool basis points accumulated progresses to Knockouts.


5) Injury replacement - Each team will be allowed a maximum of 3 player substitutions in a match.

Only the players who have not completed their quota of 3 games will be allowed to come on as a substitute in a game.

Substitutions can happen during any point of the game. Substitutions are not allowed for the challenge
