Rules for the tournament

The tournament is open to all kids in schools across India.

All the players are required to carry their age proof and produce before the beginning of all events and when asked for.

On field, Judges / Organizers / Referees / Umpires decision would be final.

The tournament comprises of the following categories 

Boys Singles: Age categories: U10, U13, U15 & U17 years.

Boys Doubles: Age categories: U15 & U17 years.

Girls Singles: Age categories: U13, & U17 years.

Age cut-off is as follows:

• Under 10: Born on or after 26/5/2009
• Under 13: Born on or after 26/5/2006
• Under 15: Born on or after 26/5/2004
• Under 17: Born on or after 26/5/2002

 Format:

Knock-out – For 21 points (Single set)

Finals: Point System: 15 Points - Best of 3 Sets.

 All safety gears and playing equipment’s have to be brought by the participants (i.e. Badminton Racquets, Indoor badminton Non-marking shoes etc.)

Players are requested to be in proper sports attire

Strictly ONLY indoor non-marking shoes allowed at the venue (NO black sole allowed. ONLY Yellowish / Orangish sole allowed).

First aid will be provided in case of any injury

All standard Badminton rules apply

All participants are requested to maintain discipline and to avoid any kind of arguments with any other participants

Participants need to be present at least 30 minutes prior to the designated start time. Else the opponent will be given walk-over

Registrations once done cannot be cancelled / transferred under any circumstance

Organizers reserves the right to reject any registration if found biased.

All participants will get the schedule 2 days prior to the tournament date.

Shuttlecock:

FEATHER SHUTTLE WILL BE USED.  

 Schedules and Fixtures:

Will be published and sent by email to all participants 1 day before the tournament.

Rewards:

Trophy for Winner / Runner-up. 

Participation Certificates to be given to all participants.

JustPlay management can modify the tournament details any time at its own discretion without any prior notice. The management reserves the right to cancel specific category if there are not enough registrations (less than 8).
