AUCTION RULES!

1 The player list will be shared with participants one day prior to the auction day.

2 Each team will have a total wallet share of INR 100 CR to build their team of minimum 16 players and maximum 25 players.

3 Each team can have maximum 8 overseas players.

BIDDING RULES

1 The auction will start with the Marquee Batch first followed by Batches 1-5 sequentially. The auction will move onto the next batch when all players of the previous batch are completed.

2 Every player has been assigned a Serial Number based on which they will be selected at random by the auctioneer for the auction.

3 The first 2 teams to bid for the auctioned player will be allowed to continue bidding until 1 team stops and then a new team can enter the bidding process.

4 Bidding will continue until there are no bids for more than 15 seconds (Kindly avoid bidding at the last second). The player will be sold to the team with the highest bid.

5 Every bid can be increased in the following manner -

a. by 5 Lakhs upto 100 Lakhs (1 CR)

b. by 10 Lakhs upto 200 Lakhs (2 CR

c. by 20 Lakhs upto 500 Lakhs (5 CR)

d. by 25 Lakhs upto 1000 Lakhs (10 CR)

e. by 50 Lakhs above 1000 Lakhs (10 CR)

6 The team owner has to keep a check on the minimum requirements for the team and players. The team falling under the below circumstances will not be allowed to bid further -

a. if they do not have the sufficient funds as per the bid

b. if they have completed the maximum criteria of 8 Overseas players and 25 players in the team

c. if they spend all funds on a particular player and have not met the minimum criteria of 16 players in their team

7 An accelerated auction will be conducted in the end for unsold players

8 For the accelerated auction, the teams have to provide a list of players from unsold category to the auctioneer and the bid will then continue further as per Bidding Rules 3-6 mentioned above.

9 In case of any disputes, Auctioneer's decision will be final

TOURNAMENT RULES!

1 If any player from anyone's Playing team is ruled out from the tournament, then he will be replaced by his officially announced replacement, if any (Kindly note replacement will only be provided if the franchise officially announces it)

Before the start of the tournament, each team needs to choose their Captain and Vice-Captain from their playing team who will have 2x and 1.5x points respectively.

2 Once the tournament ends, the teams with Purple cap and Orange cap holders will get additional 100 Points (100 points for Purple cap and 100 points for Orange cap), teams will get these additional points.

3 If the Purple or Orange cap holder is your C or VC, the team owner will get 200 points and 150 points respectively for C and VC instead of 100 points.

4 If the C or VC of your team is ruled out, the owner can select a new C or VC from the remaining set of players.

5 For easy calculation, the total points scored by any player in a match will be taken from Dream 11's official website after every match.

6 The winner of the league will be decided at the end of the official IPL 2024 season based on their total team score for the season.


The auction will be held on 10th March, 2024 at 7 pm. However, need everyone to join the call 15 mins in advance, so we can have a trial round and explain all the rules. Link will be shared separately

All participants will be on mute. One person from each team have to be active on video (only video, no audio) for the bidding.

Once a player is showcased on the screen, Auctioneer will call out the player's name, post which, the top two teams whose hands are raised (as per auctioneer), will start the auction. Only after one team decides to back out, another team can join in. Only two teams can bid for a player at a given time.

NOTE – There will be a timer for each player up for auction. After each bid, 15 seconds will be given to the buyers to place their bid, failing which, the buyer with the initial bid will win the player. However, if the player price goes over and above 10 cr., this waiting time will be increased to 30 seconds.
