INTER - SCHOOL BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

LOCATION: CAPSA YELAHANKA

PLEASE READ: FOR INDIVIDUAL EVENT (DOUBLES) PLAYERS CAN BE FROM DIFFERENT SCHOOLS

FOR TEAM EVENT ALL PLAYERS MUST BE FROM SAME SCHOOL - SEND ENTRIES TO 9972696890

Ø The aim of this event is to encourage children on sports and motivating them to reach higher levels.

Ø team EVENT WINNERS will be awarded with trophy (for school) + certificate, runners will be awarded with trophy + certificate & all semifinalists will be awarded with medals + certificate

Ø Individual event – Winners & runners up - cash prize + trophy + certificate

Ø Any overage players found they’ll be disqualified from this event.

Ø BASED ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES WE MIGHT conduct event on 4th or 5th February 2023 (WE WILL CONFIRM ONCE THE REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED)

Ø PLAYERS CAN REGISTER THROUGH PLAYMATCHES.COM & ON SAME PLATFORM WE WILL BE UPDATING ABOUT EVENT

Ø LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS, COACHES & PARENTS

Ø ONLY ONE PERSON WITH PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE FIELD OF PLAY TILL SEMI – FINALS

Ø NON VEG & OUTSIDE FOOD IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED

NOTE:- CUT OFF DATE FOR U-12 CATEGORY Jan 2011, Under-14 :- Jan 2009, Under-16:- Jan 2007

All matches will be conducted on yonex synthetic courts

Yonex AS - 2 shuttles will be used for all matches

Referee or organizer decision is final

INDIVIDUAL EVENT - Under 12, under 14 & under 16 boys and girls singles & doubles events will be conducted.

TEAM EVENT – Same 3 categories with minimum 4 & maximum 5 players in one team. FORMAT – 1st Singles, 2nd Doubles & Reverse singles if it goes to deciding game.

All matches will be played for 15 points best of 3 with extension
